The 2019 exhibit of the “Breweries and Bottlers of Mansfield” will try to correct the information through unknown maps, account books and other information current to the particular period of these companies.

Histories that have been written about the Breweries in Mansfield for many years and have been printing the same incorrect information, including the websites of today dedicated to brewery histories. This in many cases is not the fault of the writer but of earlier written histories that were inaccurate.

The museum is collecting bottles, labels, photographs, brochures, letterheads and related material to Mansfield Ohio soda and beer companies. We are looking for anyone who worked in any of the breweries or soda bottling companies to interview and find surviving artifacts to enhance the exhibit.

We would be grateful for any information and artifacts to these companies. This will make the display well rounded and informative to the community. Thank you for your help in preserving our heritage for today and the future.

We are seeking the help of collectors, historians and people with direct knowledge of the workings of these factories to preserve the correct history of many of these little known companies.
